Jingdezhen Ceramic Rainbow Gradient Bouquet — Ice Blue Crackle Gourd Vase
Every Petal, a Tiny Rainbow
Photographed in the Jingdezhen studio where it was made — surrounded by shelves of other ceramic flowers, each one a world of its own — this piece shows you exactly what Jingdezhen craftsmanship looks like at its most ambitious.
Each of the 20+ blooms in this arrangement is individually hand-sculpted and glazed with a rainbow gradient wash: blush pink fading into sky blue, into celadon green, into lemon yellow — with white-outlined petal edges that catch the light like fine cloisonné. No two flowers are identical. No two glazes land the same way twice.
The vase beneath them is an ice blue-to-white crackle-glaze gourd — smooth, luminous, and quietly sculptural. Together, the piece reads like a garden seen through a prism.
